7-9pm. We screen the films of (and give out a few awards to) the students in the Intro to Film and Advanced Film classes at RCS. The All American High School Film Festival is the largest student film festival in the world. Our festival offers an unparalleled experience designed specifically to promote and empower the future of film. When you submit to AAHSFF, you have the opportunity to become an Official Selection, meaning that your film will screen at the AMC Empire 25 Theaters in Times Square, the busiest movie theater in America, and the chance to receive national recognition as a category finalist or winner! Each October, thousands of student filmmakers join us in New York City for an action-packed weekend of resources and entertainment, including our Teen Indie Awards Show, where we hand out over $500,000 in prizes and scholarships.
Student filmmakers are welcome to submit as many films as they wish in as many categories as they wish. Students can submit independently or through their school or program. Teachers are also welcome to submit on behalf of their students. Please choose the category/genre that you feel best fits your film. In the event that we feel your film has a better chance to become an Official Selection in a different category, we will change the category/genre after reviewing your submission. Submit your film TODAY! We can’t wait to see what you create!
